What is Electrical Engineering and its importance?

* Electrical engineering is the branch of engineering concerned with the practical applications of the forces of electricity and magnetism.

* Electrical engineers use the principles of motion, energy, and power to create safe and efficient machines.

The industrial and economic progress of a country is measured by its per capita electricity consumption.

Electrical engineering is one of the important branches of engineering, which includes the study of electricity and electromagnetism and their applications, electrical power generation, mathematics, electrical machines, and the principles of analysis of electrical power systems.

The conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy (e.g., rotating machinery such as flour mills, electric fans), conversion of electrical energy into heat (e.g., heating water, food processing, etc.), conversion of electrical energy into light (e.g., electric lamps, etc.); etc. are studied in this branch.

1) Government Job-

* One can work in various positions in the departments of Maharashtra Government like MSEB, MATRANSCO, MAHAGENCO.

Also, one can work in various positions in departments of the central government like DRDO, RAILWAY, ONGC, SAIL, GAIL, POWERGRID, SSC etc.

2) Private sector:

You can also work in a good position in private companies like SIEMENS, BAJAJ, TATA POWER.
