What is mechanical engineering?

Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest branches of engineering, incorporating the principles of physics, engineering, mathematics, and engineering physics to analyze, design, and manufacture mechanical systems. Mechanical engineers use the principles of motion, energy, and power to create safe and efficient mechanical devices.
